Gizzo Bike Works shares the joy of electric cycling by renting electric bikes. We further our recycling mission by finding lovely old Schwinn 3 speeds to convert. Each bike is overhauled and adjusted before the 24 volt battery pack and 250 watt hub motor are installed.
This regal red beauty is a 1975 Breeze that began life on Nantucket.
This Schwinn Breeze is in nice shape for a 40 year old bike.
The front fender cleaned up well, but doubts remain that the rear fender will come out as shiny. We use a combination of Never Dull and 0000 steel wool on chrome.
